    Hi guys,

I recently lined my curtains (it gets damn cold at night) and had a fair amount of material left over. It’s quite a finely woven synthetic or semi-synthetic material that feels relatively smooth to the touch.

I want to use them as polishing cloths, to remove polish and wax from my car. Will it be safe, or will it scratch my paint?

Hard to tell, can you test them on the inside of the trunk or hood?

    Hi GTO Man,

Thanks for you reply, and apologies for my late response.

I can’t test them there – the paint seems to be really matt in there. I’ll try it on my rear bumper – that’s so scuffed and chipped a bit of scouring won’t hurt it!

I washed and polished my car today. I rained on the wax as I tried to remove it… BangHead.gif
