    Nirvana Nevermind is probably one of the most importand in the last 15 years, helped to change the face of modern rock and helped to kill hair metal.

    Pink Floyd – Dark Side Of The Moon

    The Beatles – Sargent Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

    NWO – Straight Outta Compton (The album provided a negative influence in that it was groundbreaker for the “gangster rap” era)

    Depeche Mode – People Are People (The album started the “New Wave” movement in the 1980’s)

    Styx kind of helped set the stange for more classic rock, they had a lot of successful hits and although many think of them as a cheesy rock group – they were important in shaping the face of rock
