So, who has a winter project?

Mine would be normal work on my Daily Driver ’70 AMC Hornet. Nothing real special.

Good question, I was just thinking of posting this.

Mine will be (once I pick it up) a 1949 Studebaker Champion. I still have to take a look at it, a good friend of mine has offered it to me because sadly he has no more time to work on it, but I have yet to arrange a meeting to see it first hand. When I do I’ll be sure and take plenty of pics! :D

I will be working on my Frazer engine on the nicer days until about Christmas to New years. After that, I hibernate until late March. Just do what is necessary to keep the daily driver cars going.

Winter projects… hmm where do I start..lol Probably taking my 40 plymouth body off the chassis and completely redoing the chassis then concentrate on the body a lil and rebuild the engine, possibly pending on how deep the snow gets taking the cab off my 53 international pickup since the front clip is already off and doing the frame on that as well. Rebuilding my 390 to put back in my mercury monterey in the spring and if time building a spare 351 to put in a streetrod if i find something this spring or summer. Im sure im forgetting some little stuff but sometimes its hard to remember when the vehicles arent right infront of u icon_scratch.gif But i hope everyone has fun on their projects this winter and good luck! icon_punk.gif

I have 3 cars that I will be working on to try to get restored by the spring selling season. The first one is a 69 Shelby GT-350, grabber orange car. The second car and the one I am most excited about is a 69 Camaro SS396, Daytona yellow, with factory yellow houndstooth interior. the third car is a 67 Mustang coupe, special paint car…Playboy Pink.

An international pickup hey. I think they are kinda neat looking trucks, and don’t see them around too often. I like the bodystyle around 47, the kb models. And they don’t seem like they sell for an arm and a leg either, something old that can still be bought at a reasonable price. I was considering looking for one at one time, but my first choice would be a nova. No projects here. Would like to get my 89 f150 running again, but its too cold and driveway is full of snow to try to push it in the garage. My garage isn’t heated either, and to run my kerosene heater would be kinda pricey. Maybe I’ll get to it in spring. Plus after working on trucks all day, I am pretty tired by the time I get home to do much of anything, and most of my tools are at work and have to drag them home whenever I want to work on anything. Unless I get a decent paying side job, looks like the garage will be empty this winter.

That’s true, you don’t see many International pickups around. That would be a cool project. Older trucks are really taking off as far as popularity. They have alot of character.
