I’d say the warning beep for your car lights is a great feature. How many times do you forget to turn off your lights??

Or the car door remote? Remote starter?

    Whats your favorite doodad?

I don’t have one but I would really like to get a remote starter. Up here in this pathetic climate it would sure come in handy.

A remote starter sure would be nice. On the lights note I like the newer feature that automatically shuts off your lights when you get out – that really is a time and battery saver!

#1 – Extra gauges. Most cars don’t come with enough. I’d like ot see volts, oil, temp, and vacuum on all cars. I’d also prefer to see gal left in tank in gallons like they did on one version of the Camaro gas gauge.

    #2 – CD changer.

#3 – Cruise control. I guess this could be considered a gadget.

#4 – Power windows and door locks.

    #5 – Sunroof.

My car came with radio controls mounted on a stalk next to the steering wheel. I love it!

That would be nice, but then you are stuck with the stock radio. :yikes:

That’s a good point, no upgrade. Although if you have a mp3 player or ipod with a FM tuner then its not a big deal what radio you have

Actually their is a kit you can buy to wire in aftermarket radios with your steering wheel controls.
But my car came with the upgraded stereo, it has a sub in the hatch, it has an amp, and it has an in dash 6 disk that can play burnt CD’s.
Why would I want an aftermarket radio?

It sounds like you already have a great system, no need to switch

Gotta love the backup warning system on some of the higher end models like lincoln towncars that beep inside the car and beep faster as you get closer to an object
