I’ve added a few new changes to the forum over the past couple days. One of them is a new google web and site search feature, you can now search the site locally here (for topics or whatever) or access google search directly from any page in the forum. This replaces the Member Of The Month because it has died off recently, it may be replaced in the future sometime though.

Also we are quickly approaching our 1 year birthday!!! icon_headbang.gif icon_cheers.gif icon_punk.gif Wouldn’t it be great if we could kick off the first year with a full 20,000 posts!!!! Lets all try to post as much as we can to attain this number before the deadline, which is coming up in only a couple weeks.

Congrats, G Man!!!! You can be proud of what you have accomplished in one short year and we are all grateful for the service that you and GTOMAN are providing to the collector car community. Personally, I spend way too much time checking the car show calendars, making tentative plans for this coming year.

My biggest activity will be the IOLA 2006 show. I was able to find a motel with a vacancy in Waupaca, so I am going to for Saturday and Sunday, this year.

Saturday is a big day at Iola but I stopped going on Sunday because lots of venders head out late Saturday or early Sunday. Plan on looking at cars more than parts on Sunday. I usually go on Friday and sometimes again on Saturday. I have heard that Thursday is getting to be a big day but I haven’t tried it yet.

Iola is always a big and fun event, I think Steve has a good point about the venders

Your advice will be well taken.

I am hoping for some “price breaks” on big items on Sunday as the vendors pack up to head for the house. Actually, if I were hard core, I would be up there on Thursday and Friday buying all the NOS stuff I could find.
