I love big, heavy, tough American cars. The kind of cars that get
about 9 mpg!

Cars that can go over the curb like a graceful swan.

Cars that can drive into a brick wall and not even get a dent.

Cars that have a colorful mix of blue and black smoke
belching from the tailpipe.

Cars that drip fluid all over the driveway!

Cars that weigh 5000 pounds and are big enough to live in!

Cars that sound like thunder coming down the road.

Cars like the LeSabre, the Centurion, the Roadmaster and the Fleetwood.

Cars with over 400 gas-guzzling cubic inches under the steel hood.

That’s what I remember from my childhood, and it was GREAT!
