Bidders needed for two Porsches seized from a delinquent taxpayer.

Sheriff’s sale – Public Auction of the two vehicles, a silver 1987 Porsche 944 and a black 1992 Porsche 968, will be held at Always Towing, 1511 N. 31st St., Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Thursday, June 15th, 2006. Public viewing at 9:00 a.m., sale at 10:00 a.m.

I am told that the 1987 Porsche 944 is sought after for racing because of it’s good balance and other spec’s. I’m told it’s a 4 cyl, 3 liter engine.

Full payment in the form of cash, cashier’s check or certified check due immediately after the sale. No personal checks or credit cards accepted.

Contact person is: Donna Pogliano, Wisconsin Department of Revenue, dpoglian@dor.state.wi.us, phone 414-227-4736.

    More information from Donna:

The 87 is a 944S 16 Ventiler. Alloy mag wheels, retractible roof, good paint and body, not leaking any fluids per the supervior of the place it’s being stored, but might need work on the clutch. It’s a nice silver grey with burgundy leather interior. Engine sounded good to me. Just under 78,000 miles on it.

The 92 Porsche 968 has 174,521 miles according to the odometer. It has some nicks and chips in the paint but a good body and a nice sounding engine, also not leaking fluids I’m told. Aluminum mag rims, retractible roof. Black with black interior. Missing a passenger side interior door panel.
