One of our members, Washbush, attended the Holtz Chevy show recently, and took a whole bunch of pictures for us:

I’m not sure, I’ll ask Washbush to respond. I believe its somewhere near Milwaukee.

    Hi Gents …

I sure am sorry … my brain must have been on Hold.

    Holtz Chevrolet
Highway 100 (108th Street) and Janesville Road,
    Hales Corners, WI

An excellent show … over 800 cars this year … Every kind of vehicle you can think of from exotics to customs to rods and even a fire truck.

The event is FREE, and they treat you to a bratwurst and a beer just for coming there. My kind of show. More than likely you will run into Mr. Holtz at some time during the day. He never misses it.

Always held on the 4th of July ever year … rain or shine.

The veterans of this show know to start showing up at 06:30am, even though the first cars are not allowed into the grounds until 8:00am. This year they were turning away cars before 9:30am! No joke.

It is located only 5 minutes south of the junction of I-43 and I-894 in Milwauikee, WI.

I almost forgot to say that they want pre-1978 cars this year, and many of those turned away so early were later year models. All very nice cars, but not old enough to make the cut!

Sounds like a great time, will have to remember that for next year.

I’m definitely marking it on my calendar! What a great way to spend the 4th! Thanks a lot for all the info and pics on this great show John! icon_headbang.gif
