    Well,

Basically, the front end is off of the car from the firewall forward. The motor and transmission are out of the car. The year correct, OE, parts have been ordered and are on their way. The biggest purchase was the Autolite 4100, 4V, concourse quality carb, which should be here in a couple of weeks, along with an additional $1.5K of nuts, bolts, screws, clamps, belts, hoses, motor parts, etc. to make the car year correct.

I made it through this past weekend, but this coming weekend, I may have to check myself into the Henry Ford Clinic if I am not able to get to the Mukwonago Amato Ford All Ford Show on Sunday.

How did the Road Apples and the Wisconsin Summer Cruisers do at last weekend’s shows?

Many of the Road Apples had other events going on, so we didn’t get too anything Saturday. Sunday we were headed to Platteville, but Mother Nature intefered AGAIN! This weekend looks better.

Are you able to take any pics of your progress?

I know the feeling! Its hard to go a week without shows, and you usually don’t realize it until you miss one! BangHead.gif

Thanks for the updates on the progress, glad to hear that its going well. :salut: icon_punk.gif

    Yes, I can do that.

I am starting a digital image (before and after) album of the restoration as it unfolds. I am waiting for an Autolite 4100 from Pony Carbs. Once that arrives, I will drive it out to Prairie du Sac and take another group of photos with the motor and trans out of the car.

Sounds like they are making good progress already. It will be nice to have an album of the restoration.
