Doors, Neil Young, Beach Boys, U2, Garbage, Midnight Oil, Moody Blues, Red Hot Chili Peppers.basically all years.
The Beatles, Eurythmics, Aerosmith, and U2
I have Aerosmith, Eurythmics, and U2 in the car to put in the tape player right now. Also Deep Purple, George Thorogood, and Da Yoopers for comic relief. Thought I was the only one still listening to Eurythmics stuff.
If it comes between Aerosmith and ZZ Top and it rocks, I listen to it. Not in the car right now but since they are between A and Z, and they rock, I do have them. I rotate the tapes every week or two, I have lots of tapes and since used casettes are so cheap, I am still buying more.

No, I put an 8 track with a digital display in the last car I drove, but I also used a cassette adapter with it. My 8 track tapes are falling apart. icon_sad.gif This car, a 77 Caprice, got an aftermarket JBL AM/FM cassette. I do have an 8 track in my 70 Monte Carlo.

Yep that’s the problem with 8 tracks, like cassettes they decay with time.

I mostly like classic rock. The bands listed here so far are all good.
I see 8-tracks are mentioned. That’s going back a few years. Too bad you
could only go forward with them, you couldn’t rewind.Those pop up on ebay occasionally.
I like oldies too, especially Frank Sinatra
I listen to almost anything but prefer the heavy metal stuff because I’m a guitarist and yeah
