Best wishes to the hunters amongst us. Stay safe and enjoy your time in the woods.

I was a hunter and a fisherman in my younger day, but not now, not in the last 25 years or so. But when I was a hunter, deer hunting was just as important as the local car show season is now. Back then, we were not required to wear blaze orange. Actually, we wore camo or white depending on the snow cover.

I will be heading up Friday. Looking forward to the hunt as I do every year. Have been doing some bowhunting which is much more peaceful.

use to. Gun and bow. Then my dad retired and he heads to FL for the winter now so the guns are collecting dust.

I use to fish a bunch too. Went to Canada 5 times fishing then I graduated from College and bought a house ….

maybe it is time to take up fishing again … or buy another car!

Thanks Marshall! It should be fun, we have a couple new stands on our land now so we’ve got some new spots to try. I’ll get some pictures of it to post
