    Who has been to the Boondocks show in the past? How big is it? What kind of cars do they get? What’s the setting/music/food/prizes? I’m thinking of going since there aren’t too many other shows this early, but I’d like to know a bit more about it first

    The Boondockers Car Club does a great job with this show. I have been there many times. It has changed venues several times, was in Oconomowoc a few years ago. Car selection is great, you name it they have it, to include many future classics. They are primarily a street rod club. If you attend I am sure you will enjoy. The weather sometimes, last year it rained cats and dogs, can be a draw back.

    Garibaldi,
    This will be my first year (hopefully) attending this show also. I took a bold leap of faith and preregistered for this show. Hope the weather will be halfway nice for this “first” show of the year.

    Thanks for all the updates! It sounds like a very fun show and a real jewel of the early spring! Lets hope for good weather! What’s the food/prizes situation?

    Food and prizes okay. This is actually a 2 day Show which begins on Friday with a cruise,dinner and dance afterward. They make some really nice hand made trophies to give out to special classes. If weather is good it is as good a show as you can attend. IMO Opps click submit extra time sorry. I got it fixed, no problem! – G

    That’s a cool idea of starting the show out with a cruise and dinner.
