    Cool video!

What software did you use to compile it/compress it?

Its actually been a tricky process. My camera captures in .mov format, but on windows there are no editors that will natively edit a Quicktime format so I had to convert it. After trying several applications that didn’t work so well, I found mp4cam2avi, a program written specifically to convert .mp4 and .mov camera videos to .avi. It also converts them very quickly, just a couple seconds per video. I then used Windows Movie Maker (available with Windows XP) to compile the video. To avoid any RIAA issues I’m using royalty-free music from freesound, if you know of any other sites that have some let me know. After that I exported it to a high-quality .wmv, converted to mpeg2 (dvd format) with SUPER and then converted to flv for internet streaming with Riva FLV Encoder.

I’m in the process of putting one together for Spring Jeff and the May 3rd cruise night; I hope to take many more this summer and even maybe get some interviews from people if they want! icon_punk.gif
