Vern Tracek likes cars and likes having old car guys/gals come to his dealership for the annual car show. I was in a original or restored, stock 1965-1970 class, with at least 20 – 25 cars. I won a 1st place best in class. Dick Lehnher won a 1st place, best in class, in his class which was original or restored, factory stock 1960-1964, and Ed Brown won the big one, the Tracek Auto Group Best of Show. Ed told me that it has been over 5 years since he won at a show, so he was just beaming with this award. Believe it or not, there were a few late arrivals who had gone to the Stoughton Show and realized that it wasn’t going to work out there, and drove to the Tracek Show. Because of the weather, registration was held open to about 1PM, and the total count was over 100 cars.
