I see Famous Footwear is moving its corporate headquarters to St. Louis. 270 good jobs leaving the city. Madison and the State of Wisconsin are pretty much anti-business. Brown Group is offering the employees jobs if they want to move to St. Louis. This area probably doesn’t offer much in the way of replacement jobs.

The timing of this annoucement is all wrong also, since GM just announced about 200 positions being cut from the GM SUV operations in Janesville.
