We received an email from someone today who was using the WCC Screensaver and saw a car come up on the screen that he’d like to find again. He said:

    Quote:
It looks like a Red Buick Wildcat or LeSabre
    > Convertible? 1968 to 1970. Looks like my 69 though. Photo is from
    > the front, with car on grass.

The screensaver takes photos from these albums that are on grass and not asphalt:
    ashland
    belleville
    beloit
    blanchardville
    cross plains
    deerfield
    deforest
    fall jefferson
    spring jefferson
    klassarama
    lensing
    mayville
    montello
    mt horeb
    pardeeville
    stoughton

Which are in one of these two sections of photos:

    http://www.wiscollectorcar.com/coppermine/cpg132/index.php?cat=13

Does anyone remember or have time to help search?

There is a photo of Ed Brown’s Red Buick Wildcat on grass at the Klassarama show from 2005. Could this be the one you are looking for?

I should note that Ed Brown’s car is a coupe and not a convertible. Chuck Nelson had (just sold the car this year) a red Buick LaSabre convertible, but he doesn’t attend alot of shows. I last saw him with this car in Monroe 2007, and that show was on asphalt.

Thanks Marshall, excellent detective work! I sent him your message and he replied that it is a close match, but the car he saw was identical to his car, here:
