Quote:I writing to inquire about finding people who may be willing to let us
rent/borrow a classic car for an independent film I’m producing. The
project is a music video for band named Cougar. We’re looking for an older car… (I hope you’ll pardon my lack of
knowledge in vehicle history) probably something from the late 30’s to
early 1940’s. I’ve enclosed a couple pictures of cars that have
different styles I’m interested in. I realize this makes the search
more difficult, but we’re trying to use a car that The Invisible Man
would drive or be driven in. We can be somewhat flexible. I’ve even
seen cars from the 70s that I thought would work…The scenes that include the car don’t pose any threat to the vehicle.
It might have to drive down a gravel road. We would need the car for
probably no more than 6 hours..We’re also looking for a vintage motorcycle. The era of this bike
isn’t as critical as the car. I’ve enclosed a few motorcycle styles. The video is a sort of homage/spoof of early monsters in cinema. The
look and feel of the video is a cross between movies like Faster Pussy
Cat, Kill! Kill! Creature From the Black Lagoon, and films by Quentin
Tarantino. I can share more info if you’re interested in hearing more
about it.Is anyone interested in renting/featuring their classic in a music video?
Here are some photos of cars that would be similar to what they’re looking for or additionally a motorcycle and also a photo of the invisible man:
