I forget the name of the place that was in the building in Mazo where the printer is, but that company went under a few years before.

The economic news is even worse nationally. Anyone following Ford’s announcement of it’s biggest loss in the history of Ford Motor Company or the announcement that Toyota is now outselling GM for the first time on a global basis?

Mazomanie is my hometown. There where rumblings when Synergy opened it’s doors it wouldn’t last. The place went “all in” when Sunny Industries had it and put in a enourmous addition with one of the largest printers built. The overhead alone must eat them alive. The building could easily have a 400 person work force it is that large.

Cardinal just jumped ship from Spring Green and is building in Mazomanie because some of the residents where not happy with the building location that was planned. Little NIMBYism kicked in and a fight was brewing so Cardinal bought 40+ acres from my brother-in-laws father and it pouring footings right now. 125+ jobs and talk all ready of more building.

I still remember the day when it was Sunny Industries. My brother worked there part time. They had a EMS excercise for safety. In comes the cop cars and ambulances lights a blazing. Out the rear door go 40 or so employees who’s residence in this nation wouldn’t be called legal. :haha:
