We’re going to head over to Parks Automotive for a bit on Saturday and more than likely to Don Miller on Sunday, both are relaxing events.

How is the Platteville show? How many cars do they normally get? Also has anyone ever been to the show in Horicon, that is on Saturday?

I am not sure where I will be going yet, probably will try to hit Don Miller on Sunday.

Haven’t been to the Horicon show for a couple years now. It used to be held on the training grounds for John Deere, but has been moved to a park. The club does a lot of “homemade” awards which are quite entertaining.

Sunday looks like rain now! :(

I went to the Horicon Show last year, but am unable to go back this year. I had some positive comments about last year’s show, but they have made changes to this year’s show:

    1. Registration fee has been lowered to $5 at the gate

    2. This is now a participant judged show, with voting only in your own class.

    3. Nothing newer than 1988 will be allowed in show

    4. There are now 38 classes (2 trophies per class) with Mayor’s Choice and Sponsor’s Choice for the “big” awards

    5. Cash door prizes and homemade novelty awards

    6. EVS (ERNIEvonSCHLEDORN) Chevrolet/Pontiac/Cadiallac is the primary corporate sponsor along with the Marsh Rats and Horicon Marsh Classic Car Club.

Last year’s show was a great show. I can’t predict what this year’s show will be with all the changes. I can tell you that both car clubs put their heart and soul into making this show a succcess!
