    Great time to buy if someone is looking. I have been looking at Ebay and the bidding is down from the ones I have been watching.

    If I was in the market now a couple I would be looking for might be:

    1. 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix with a 428 and a 4 speed. These are very rare with a 4 speed but they can still be found. These are reasonably priced and can be found for under $15k. They were a great design. John Delorean was heavily involved with it.

    2. 1969 or 1970 Corvette with a small block and a 4 speed. The small blocks are better driving cars. I think I would prefer T-Tops.

    Which ones would you be looking for?

    I’m on the hunt for a 69 AMX for my brother. Doesn’t matter what package it had since everything will be custom for it. Most likely stuff a SBC in it for cost savings for him.

    I do have one near me tucked behind a guys garage all covered up. Never seem to catch him at home….hope it’s in good shape, hope it’s for sale.

    There’s a lot more deals to come. Prices will come down, clones are very, very affordable now. Unfortunately Mopars are still up there in $$$, but what goes up must come down.

    I’ve got my eye on a few, hopefully tax season will be good to me and I can get a car next spring again.
