The majority of people in this country like to ignore what is going on around them. They are too interested in watching sports or some of the other garbage on TV(reality shows, etc). The US is or is becoming(depending on a person’s opinion) a second rate country. Basically the government in this country is corrupt with all the special interest groups pulling the strings. The banks and other financial institutions are more interested in screwing the public than anything else.
