The Mecum Auction from Kansas City is being broadcast live on HDTheatre today and tomorrow. Should be interesting to see what kind of prices the cars bring.

There was a 1966 Impala Convertible (Red/White) that was a driver quality car that sold for only 9.5K! That car was certainly well bought, too.

I watched a ton of this while I was up in the Twin Cities over the weekend. Great deals to be had there, and I also like the fact that Mecum will let ‘daily drivers’ or ‘driver quality’ cars across the block.

Mecum has the right ideas when it comes to auctions. I like the way they are willing to deal on the commission.
