When developing a SUV wouldn’t rollover be a very obvious situation to engineer against. Toyota has made many questionable decisions in regards to engineering and safety the last couple of years. Poor and greedy management. Brings back memories of GM and the junk they produced in the 70’s and 80’s, they seem to think as long as you build it people will buy. Not these days.
