One of our friends from the collector car world, Jim Olson, passed away on March 5th, due to complications of lung cancer and diabetes. Jim was 65, and a long time resident of Lake Mills. Jim had been up and down, and in and out of the hospital since the middle of last year. Jim competed with his car for a final time at the Edgerton Tobacco Days show last fall. Jim owned and showed a very beautiful, show winning bright orange 1949 Mercury full custom that was a consistent best of class winner and occasional best of show winner.
