I was being lead to believe that “Wisconsin Is Open For Business!!!

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development reported Wednesday that the state lost 9,700 jobs in October, primarily in Milwaukee. The statewide unemployment rate for October was 7.7 percent.

The monthly number compared with other states across the country is the worst in the nation. It’s the fourth month in a row that the state has lost jobs, WISC-TV reported.

This is from Channel3000 online headlines, todays date.

Perhaps the job losses were due to employment terminations of those who chose to Occupy East Washington Ave?

IMO, the job losses are due to the general climate in this state, business and worker. Hundreds of thousands of workers have less disposable income, there is downward pressure on all workers wages, there is a huge disconnect between workers and management, and the educational environment is going downhill.

Hmmmm, and Illinois added +30,000 jobs in October..Sounds like “Illinois is open for business” http://www.ides.illinois.gov/?item=2357 It does seem a bit over the top, but at least they are adding jobs..
