The old school guys, like to use a can of Coke to get grease stains out (soaking it). Then you also need to soak it in a bucket with some detergent (and some coke too) and then rinse it out.

If the colors are faded a bit then you can can dye the belt.

In addition to being a tasty beverage, Coca Cola, “Coke”,is handy and useful out in the garage. On my daily drivers, when the windshields build up a greasy film, I use coke to remove the greasy film from the glass. The commercial glass cleaners will clean glass, but will not cut that greasy film. I have also used Coke on car battery terminals to clean them up, prior to applying grease

Just think what that stuff does to your guts if it can eat battery acid.

Funny you mention that, because he and I had that conversation some time ago. I used to be bad, drinking 5-6 sodas a day. I’m down to two a now – one at work and usually one at home at night. I try to drink more water at work, and more juice/milk at home… My issue with milk is I rarely crave it, and when I do I have to have Hershey’s syrup in it. Ive been taking a calcium supplement but its easier to force myself into a glass of milk a day.
