I need to buy a rattle can (or less) of spray paint, 1970 GM Paint, Fire Red, I think the code is A75 or A175. I have one small piece to paint.
Is this available locally, or will I need to do a goggle search on the internet?

Does body shop supply do that? Or that paint place over by Farm and Fleet, near Buckeye rd. They have that small yellow car on the roof. I don’t know the name of it. But I seem to remember someone going there for a rattle can.

I think back in the day, my dad bought some paint from them and an aerosol thing you screw on to a glass container with the paint in it … I’m pretty sure he got it from the place Xman mentioned.
For my ’68 GTO I bought some custom mixed paint from Body Shop Supply. It could be bought in either a can or in a spray can.
Body Shop Supply does that. They give you two choices. You can either get an aerosol spray can made up (usually around $25) or you can buy a kit that is like a small CO2 powered air gun and then get some paint.

I will go with the spray aerosol for now. One final question – I am painting the metal body color lip on the grille, which is somewhat hidden, but noticeable on the front of the car. Is it necessary to finish this piece with clear coat or can I get away with just the body color. I am guessing I will need to clear this piece.
I always clear everything that is painted. And something like that, which will be out in the elements and receiving abuse from the road, would benefit from the extra protection
Another vote for Body Shop Supply. I’ve had them do a lot of automotive paint in aerosol form for me over the years. Talk to Justin DiMaggio over there, and tell him I recommended you. He and I go way back
