There was a chrome/polishing shop showing off their work at Jefferson today, and they have been in Madison for 30 years. I’m planning on seeing if they can re-chrome my intake lid:

It took about 10 weeks, but I told them upfront to take their time and that there was no rush since the car is in storage.
Cost: 200+tax
I have spoken to others that have spent 250-350 + shipping to have their air cleaner lids done done at other places
Overall I’m impressed with the quality and it is nice to have a local place like this…
