What’s the car movie you’ve watched most recently? For me its Bullitt, I watched it again a week ago, still as good as the first time I saw it! Drogar-BigGrin(LBG).gif thumbsup.gif

Bullitt… I don’t have it yet on DVD, I haven’t even looked for it and I know I should as I really like that movie.
The last one I saw with cars in it was “the Bourne Identity” and “the Bourne Supremacy”. icon_cool.gifMay 29, 2005 at 10:22 pm #12435GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Bullitt… I don’t have it yet on DVD, I haven’t even looked for it and I know I should as I really like that movie.

May 29, 2005 at 10:52 pm #12436AnonymousInactiveHonestly, I prefer The Bourne Identity, but for cars, there is a very good car chase in Russia, which remains surprising to me as I have been there a couple of times.
I am pretty sure it was inspired by Bullitt to some extent (length of the take).May 29, 2005 at 10:55 pm #12437GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Honestly, I prefer The Bourne Identity, but for cars, there is a very good car chase in Russia, which remains surprising to me as I have been there a couple of times.

May 29, 2005 at 11:00 pm #12438AnonymousInactiveWell, it is kind of difficult to say, as there are so many camera angles that it differs totally from a movie such as Bullitt.
I’d think the movie was shot at real velocities, and for that part of the movie, it is worth renting or buying it.
I guess that now, you would be able to get it for a decent price.May 29, 2005 at 11:11 pm #12439GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Well, it is kind of difficult to say, as there are so many camera angles that it differs totally from a movie such as Bullitt.

May 29, 2005 at 11:31 pm #12440AnonymousInactiveI understand your upsetting…
I buy many things on the net… But never on E-Bay.
It mays sound stupid, but as it is bidding site, I would hate the hasstle of waiting to get the stuff, to overbid, be there at the right time…
E-Bay reminds me that big sites like that have a kind of monopoly… which is always dangerous, we are just crdit card numbers for them, and they are able to sell almost everything.May 29, 2005 at 11:58 pm #12441AnonymousInactiveI wish I told you about Overstock.com sooner. The last couple of DVD sets I bought was through Overstock. They offer great discount pricing at a very low shipping cost. I’m sorry to hear from the problems you are going through.
Oh BTW this Tuesday a special 3 disc DVD set of Bullitt will be released. The bonues DVD’s will included deleted scenes and a behind the scenes documentary. Good stuff.

Its a partner with ebay, not really ebay. I would hate the bidding process too, that’s why I use half.com! thumbsup.gif

Great car movie!!! icon_biggrin.gif
By the way, for you Bullitt lovers……..
Watch the chase scene VERY carefully.
It is a very short scene that was filmed from several
angles to make it look longer!!!Look for the VW. Watch how many times Steve passes it!!!
Also, watch for the film crew that didn’t duck down far
enough to be out of the picture!!!June 3, 2005 at 12:35 am #12444GaribaldiKeymasterQuote:Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.Great car movie!!! icon_biggrin.gif
