I took the day off of work and drove down to the the Mecum auction today … I was surprised at the quality of cars that were going across the block today. Also it was kinda neat to see the cars sell and then park again and then watch the new owners reving up the engines, honking the horns and checking that all the lights worked.

This was the first Mecum Auction in Chicago and hopefully they come back next year!
