Would you pay for a label???
Would you pay thousands extra to drive a Cadillac Escalade instead
of the GMC equivalent? It’s the same vehicle!Another example is the Lincoln Navigator instead of the Ford Expedition.
Same vehicle! This is nothing new. About 3 decades ago the same thing was happening.
General Motors took the Chevy Cavalier, installed leather seats, put
a Cadillac name on it and called it the Cimarron.Ford took the Granada, also known as the Mercury Monarch, installed
leather and stuck a Lincoln name on it. Voila, the Lincoln Versailles was born. So, would you pay thousands more to have a luxury nameplate on your
vehicle, even though it’s the SAME vehicle?EDIT…….. For those of you who know what the Cimarron is you
might find this fun to read………
