What kind of police cars are in your city?
We have the following…….
Black-and-white Crown Vics
White Crown Vics
Black-and-white Expeditions
One black-and-white Excursion
One black-and-white Ford Van
One black-and-white cube truck (rescue squad type of vehicle)
When I lived in Cleveland many decades ago they had
some wierd colors. The worst was lime green. YUK!!! icon_sad.gifSide note……….. In Cleveland, during the ’60s and ’70s, we didn’t have
rescue squads. The station-wagon police cars were used as ambulances! icon_eek.gifAlso, when I lived there, they confiscated a Corvette from somebody.
They turned it into a police car!!! icon_cheesygrin.gif

The following types of cars used by the police here are:
– Ford Focus (mostly patrol vehicles)
– Ford Fiesta (support vehicles, only a few)
– Volkwagen vans (riot vans, camera vans)
– Mercedes-Benz C-Class (lots of these, patrol vehicles)Unmarked cars can be anything – even white vans. They have some bloody quick cars too – mainly Mercedes-Benz but around Oxford-Swindon area Thames Valley have a few heavily-modified Subaru Imprezas as interceptors.
In Madison they use mainly Crown Vics. You don’t see many around though, the cops are usually hiding somewhere wasting time.

If anyone ever attends the wi dells car show, check out the ratrod pickup truck the dells police ride around in during the weekend, looks like a 40’s chevy or somethin. Looks good from far away but up close it needs a few touch ups.. guess all those burnout tickets dont go to that fund icon_cheesygrin.gif
