Coming to a show room near you in the spring of 2009. It will have about the same MPG as the Prius but the MSRP will be about 2k less (starting at 19K).

GM is still planning on introducing the Volt in 2010. It is a plug in, in which the 1st 40miles is all electric then switches to hybrid mode. Est cost 40k (same size as a Prius)

Toyota will have a plugin in 2010 that will drive for about 10 miles on the batteries then switches to Hybrid mode Est cost 25k.

If GM is still around in 2010, I would bet toyota will sell 10:1 to the Volt…..

Ford and Chrysler are still planning on adding Turbos, superchargers and Flux-Capacitors to improve MPG ….
