Made it bacK home this morning at 10:30.I left West Virgina at 7am Sundasy morning. My friend Jim from Rockford caravaned back to Il. We skipped the interstate for the first 150 miles or so taking US50 through the mountians.WHAT A DRIVE ! The morning was cool about 50, but by the time we hit Ohio it was in the 90’s.Neither one of us have a/c.The heat was too much for one of my 2 year old Cooper Corbras. A belt seperated and I was lucky I felt it and pulled over.A spot had worn through the steel cords and would have not lasted much longer. The trouble is the tire is discontuned , so I will have a hard time to find a replacment.

I deal in Cooper tires. If you let me know the size you have, I may be able to locate one for you.

I will check tomorrow. Don’t hold your breath with that size though, your lips will turn blue

I checked availability of a tire for you today, none of my warehouses have anything available. I’ve got an email into two of my reps, but odds are you may be on the look for a new set of tires.
