My friend Dave is again looking for cars and Trucks for his annual show in Dearborn . If you have any of the cars or trucks listed below and want to be considered for the show send me a pm and I will get you the contact info to you.
The Ford Product Development Center Truck and Car Show this year will occur on Friday, July 15, 2016. The theme is “A Century of Ford-Built Trucks – Built Ford Tough”.
This year Ford celebrates the 100th model year of continually offering factory-designed and factory-built trucks on an annual basis. In 1917, Ford sold its first one-ton truck, a 1-ton chassis designated the Model TT (Model T “Tonner”), and began a legendary chapter in the truck business.
We are seeking Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln trucks from all years to display at Ford Product Development headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. Whether military “mules” and jeeps, Broncos or buses, panel deliveries or pickups, vans or tilt cabs, “utes” or line haulers, we are seeking all types and varieties of Ford-built trucks in all livery styles. Our emphasis is on variety, however, our space is limited. Therefore, we are conducting a call for vehicles between now and March to select entries before general registration, including a few which will be placed in our Feature Row, which will attempt to capture the essence of the history of Ford-built trucks.
We will also feature other classes of vehicles of all makes and varieties – approximately half of the field area — maintaining our usual wide variety of makes and models of all vehicle types from many manufacturers.
Those who wish to nominate a vehicle in the General Theme or Feature displays should include a picture to help the committee in its decision. Priority will be given to regular and previous attendees of the show, though all vehicles will be considered based on merit, variety, and rarity. We are looking for all Ford-built trucks, including (but not limited to) the following trucks: Model T/TT, Model A/AA, Model B/BB/18 (V-, F-Series (light/medium/heavy), B-Series, C-/CT-Series, CL-/CLT-Series, COE, E-Series, H-/HD-Series, L-/LN-/LNT-/LTL-/LTS-Series, Mercury M-Series (light/medium/heavy), N-Series, W-Series, T-Series, Aeromax, Aerostar, Aviator, Blackwood, Bronco, Bronco II, Cargo, Coupe Utilities, Courier, Ford/Mercury Econolines, Ford/Mercury Econoline E-/M-100 Pickups, Ecostar, Escape, Explorer, Explorer Sport Trac, Extra Heavy Duty, Expedition, Excursion, Louisville, Mark LT, Moutaineer, Navigator, Panel & Sedan Deliveries, Ranchero, Ranger, Super Duty, Transit, Transit Connect, Military trucks and jeeps.
