Received an email from 2shores about the Lake Mills city council meeting on April 5th. Seems one of their neighbors has complained about the Cars and Coffee. Below is the email, any help is appreciated.

Dear friends,

as we are going into the new season, we have to appear in front of the Lake Mills City Council to get permission to continue the street closure for our event.
Unfortunately, there is one neighbor who has filed a complaint with the City about our event. The issues of blocking his driveway, littering and safety concerns are to be addressed.

All of you know, we do our outmost, to keep this event a family friendly gathering.

If you like to help support this event, we would welcome your support this coming Tuesday, April 5th, City Council Chambers, Municipal Building City of Lake Mills, 200 Water Street, Lake Mills, WI 53551 at 7pm. We realize, this is a very short notice. Hopefully some of you can make it to support our Cars & Coffee.

Why people find the need to litter in the first place is beyond me. I’m sure a compromise can be found at the Board Meeting Tuesday night to keep this event going.
