    Saturday, May 9, 2009 – 9am to 2pm

    Alliant Energy Center—Olin Street Entrance

    1919 Alliant Energy Center Way, Madison WI

    Electronic materials collected at the event will
    includes all brands of television sets (all sizes), computer monitors, personal
    computers, printers, scanners, fax machines calculators, cell phones, keyboards,
    & mice, microwaves, vacuums, toasters, radios, stereos, telephones, DVD and
    CD players and VCRs. NO air conditioners, dehumidifiers or large appliances.
    This event is for residents of Dane County only – NO businesses.

    I got my stuff dropped off. Took about 30 minutes once I was in line (at Olin ave). On the drive back home the line went from Olin Ave, down nolan, down RimRock, Down the RimRock exit on the beltline, down the beltline to the Park St exit…..

    And at that time there was not one cop directing traffic….

    Looks like a popular event with poor planning for traffic control? Maybe there will be another held this year for those that couldn’t get in today?
