AC compressor rebuild in the Madison area?

I have an old AC compressor for my car that looks nice on the outside but I’m not sure what is going on in the inside… so I want to get it rebuilt (depending on the cost) so I can bolt it back on my car.

Any tips on where to go or should I pick up a rebuilt one ….

Anyone know of someone in the area who could rebuild an older AC compressor?

I found a guy that I could ship it to that will swap out the guts so I can keep the case, but it is the same price he has for a rebuilt one with fresh paint and the correct sticker which has he types the correct info including the month and year my car was made.

The one in the photo was built in 1965 … I’m still planning on having the muffler on the AC blasted and re-use it ….
