    It’s been years since I wrote this artical and it is related to Motorcyle engines, but it may be of interest to car nuts also. Especially if they run double overhead cams:

    Nice looking bikes on the site. I like that ’67 Nova SS. Sounds like you do your own mechanical and performance work. I wish I had the knowledge to do that.

    Yes, I built and raced my share of Bikes and cars over the years.

    That 67 Nova SS had a 327 running a LT-1 solid lifter cam. It had a Holley spreadbore 750 and 4-speed with a Hurst shifter. It was a very quick little car. It wouldn’t come on till about 3 grand, but would pull like hell till 7 grand.

    Wish I still had it.
