Interesting story about classic cars in Cuba. Sounds like Cubans have been unable to buy/sell cars. Now it appears that will be changing.

I think the cars are so ingrained in Cuban culture that they will still be driven or be relegated to second car status if they can have a more modern auto. Personally, I think the barricade is dumb, the people should be allowed to travel and trade back and forth. What is the US so afraid of? Communism? Well, we do business with Red China, Viet Nam and Venezuela, so I fail to see the point.
