    I was just wondering.

On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.

I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.

I haven’t spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

I actually know this car! I saw this car as recently as a couple of weeks ago at the Sun Prairie Show.

This is more of a blue than turquoise, although the color in 1966 was named Frost Turquoise. The owner of this car is an “older” fellow, and I believe the car has an 200hp inline six cyclinder motor. This car was a class winner in 2006 at the Sun Prairie Show.

Cars that would make interesting projects. Quite a variety, and all right around here.

I think the 1966 Pontiac Catalina Convertible at $2,000 would make for an outstanding collector car for someone who has some room in the garage and time on their hands to bring the car back up to OE/Facory Correct specs. A few extra dollars in the checking account wouldn’t hurt either 😯 😯 😯

That beetle is pretty similar to the one we saw at Sun Prairie, isn’t it?

Kinda. The one in SP was a 1971 Super beetle, so it have coil over shocks up front, instead of beam front suspension.

If the body and underside of that car are solid it is a really good deal.

Wow, I’d hope nothing ever happens to that Impala as the paint will be impossible to match… It’s unfortunate they didn’t use different paint, those are neat BIG cars!

Indeed. I saw one driving down the street here today in Indiana.

What was he asking for it? I can’t remember
