I was just wondering.
On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.
I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.
I haven’t spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

What are those seats from? I could be wrong, but those quarters look full of bondo from that picture angle… Those are neat cars when done properly…
I had about five offers before I left the Lube, but, as life is, if you wait you miss out. I am not too concerned Many bars and restaurants have tried to hire me away from QSL (foolish me I stayed faithful) I just need to talk to them all again.
There’s another business (bar/restaurant) owner who occasionally frequents the forum. He is also the guy who put on the Cars on State Street Show last year. His first name is JD and I actually met him and talked with him at length this year at the Sun Prairie Show. Can someone help me with the last name. I would think that your talents and expertise and experience from the QSL would get his interest, as I understand he would like to do another Cars on State Street next year.

State Street Classic Car Show May 12

Saturday, April 14, 2007The inaugural Cars on State Classic Car Show, in which State Street will be opened up to more than 50 classic cars, has been set for Saturday, May 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The cars will include everything from vintage Model Ts to classic muscle cars. Organizers, including Hawk Schenkel, owner of Hawk’s Bar & Grill, are looking for cars more than 25 years old.
Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema and auto expert Matt Joseph will be among the celebrity judges.
The entry deadline is April 20. To enter a car, go to http://www.carsonstate.com or call Hawk’s at 256-4295.
