I was just wondering.

On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.

I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.

I haven’t spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

That is top dollar for an original 63,000 mile Le Mans. What it has going for it besides the low mileage is that is can be made into a GTO without too much trouble.

If it is all that he claims, it is worth about $15,000 to $17,000 which is probably what he will end up getting. I think $20,000 is kind of pushing it, but it does look extremely nice. I would be proud to drive it.
