I was just wondering.

On one of the other forums that I frequent (Vintage Mustang Forums, VMF), a poster was ranting and raving about buying and selling on craigslist. Low and behold, I find that we have one here locally.

I found a 1967 Ford Galaxie convertible in Montello that I have taken an interest in. Allowing for the seller to contact me this weekend, I plan to drive up and take a look at it.

I haven’t spent alot of time on craigslist, but so far, I am pretty impressed with what I have seen.

I’m gonna end up being in the minority on this, but I like this car. I am going through a phase where full customs, California customs, lowriders, and hydro cars are catching my attention.

I like this one for what it is – a customized street rod.

I actually saw this at the Good Guys show (I think). I remember looking closely at the Skulls. Nice dept to the paint and nice 3d affect.

I kinda liked it better in primer…the car looks nice I just don’t like the skulls.

I’ve got no problem with customs, and can appreciate them for their originality and individual beauty. My only complaint with the car would be changing the 409 4-speed, because of the rarity of this set-up. Just doesn’t make sense to me.
