I am sure some of you out there have “modified” cars, new heads, go fast etc. Our insurance company cancelled the car cause of “risk”…right.
So any thoughts or advice other than tell them the car is NOT modified?
We have tried everyone and gee 2 grand a year is a little much to pay.
WE are both over 50 so we arenot kids. Ok we act like it sometimes…
Any help would be appreciated.

Who is your insurance company? Collectors insurance, with Hagerty or Grundy, hasn’t been a problem for me.
Any of the insurance companies specializing in insuring Collector Cars will insure a modified car. I have hagerty and have been very happy with them.
05 gto has over 400hp and nitrous tho we have never used it. My thought is that a lot of folks have “modified” fast cars, they just dont tell the insurance company exactly what the car has and that is how they get around it.
