This should be the last name of a person somehow connected to cars: race driver, team owner, well known car collector, etc.

Oldsmobile, Ransom E. 1864-1950. He and his car are history but not forgotten.

I have always admired TUCKER, a real “UFO” to me that guy.

For the “U” letter, I don’t think there is anyone, only “Union” something (example : Auto Union -> AUDI = Auto Union Ingelstadt, the 4 circles are : AUDI, DKW, HORCH, and WANDERER).

But there are a few makes, such as UNIC, made by a French guy in the first third of the XXth century : Georges Richard.
That guy was geographically between RENAULT (Billancourt) and CITROËN (Quai de Javel) the 3 of them on the outskirts of Paris.
Then, after WW II I think, this little company was kind of “absorbed” and made lorries with FIAT for decades.
I don’t think they still do now though.
