    Hey Guys,
I had a recent bad experience with a Madsion vendor who calls his business Custom Color Specialists. He has a shop out on the back side of the airport and is also a mobile service for repairing leather, vinyl and velour.
He did a simple patch on a truck seat for me but when I picked it up, the patch had already cracked open. He told me he would repair it at my home the following week when he was in my neighborhood with his mobile service as he needed to leave right then for another customer appointment. I paid him $50 for the repair so I could take the seat home with me and trusted he would make good on his word and his work.
Several weeks went by and I never heard from him so I called his mobile number to see about getting my money back. He just laughed and said he must have forgotten to call me and he wouldn’t send me the money. He also refused to give me a time when he would be at his shop so I could stop with the seat or pick up the $50.00.
Needless to say, take heed from my misfortune and stay away from this guy. His name is Steve Kind.

I would be interested in know who you find. I have a leather seat in a daily driver that the thread has pulled out of one section…

Odd… I’ve had custom color specialists do a lot of on site work for me over the years and never had an issue.

There is usually two sides to a story.

Moparkid25, you are lucky you’ve never had an issue with this vendor over the years. I can assure you, however, that I’ve been a purchasing agent most of my long career and can definitely recognize a service provider who has no intention of honoring his commitments or correcting his mistakes. Yes, there are usually two sides to a story but only one side is the truth. Once again, I am saying WATCH OUT!
