At the beginning of the show they did a little 5 minute article about how the Reserve cars are back because of the current market (meaning to protect the seller …). The last time they had reserve cars was 2005.

I watched some of the auction. There were many nice entry level cars sold. And as usual the cars got more expensive as the auction went on. I will post some well bought cars from my perspective.

Here are a couple that brought big money.

1970 Olds 442 – $165,000

1962 VW Samba Bus – $110,000

1969 Camaro Custom – $99,000

The folks from the VW community went over that Samba bus and ripped it a new one. Lots of parts from the Bus came from different year Buses (a franken-bus if you will).
