    Nick,

September 12th is a Saturday. There are at least three (maybe 4) other shows already scheduled and on the calendar for that day.

The three already on are Waterloo, 2Brothers Show in Edgerton, the VFW Veteran’s Benefit Show & Shine.

Is it possible that Belinda’s benefit could be rescheduled for another date, possibly a Tuesday evening?

The date isnt up to me…Im just a messenger. We can try to see if it can be moved. Just make your voices known.

My suggestion is perhaps they should try to move it to that evening?

    Great suggestion………

Everyone who will be at the other shows during the day could get back in time for Belinda’s benefit at Rev Jim’s on Saturday night.

This benefit could kick off at 4PM or later, and still have a three or more good hours of daylight left. I have never done two shows in the same day, so this would be pretty cool!

Great idea! I like keeping it on the same day, but backing up the start time. I will have a couple of desirable items to donate for the silent auction. Will you have more of your work at this benefit?

When the time is right, I will notify the leadership of the Lake Wisconsin Cruisers, the Wisconsin Summer Cruisers, the Badgerland Mustang Club and the Road Apples and remind them of this benefit for Belinda. These clubs have all been generous with recent benefit shows and fundraisers. And again, I don’t need to remind anyone of the good that Belinda has done for all of us. She is and has been the spark plug for the VFW Show (formerly the Klassarama Show) in Madison.

There is also a very good show in Horicon that day, along with a show at Parks Automotive in DeForest. If the date can be changed… I’d highly suggest it as most people will be tired out from attending shows that day and attendance may suffer because of it. The Road Apples have an event scheduled that night already and I’d like to attend if possible.

On the Special Interest class, what justifies special interest? I don’t like new cars mixed in with cars that are clearly special interest, I’d love to see that clarified at some of the shows we’ve attended this year.

I’m guessing that the “monster” radio flyer wagon seen at this show every year would qualify as special interest… B)

Yes–that would qualify as special interest. Hope you all can make it to Spring Green on Saturday. So far the weather looks like it will be a great day for a car show!
