No shows for me this weekend, I’ve been to that Don Miller show twice and seen Best of Show go to a late model Corvette, and haven’t went for probably 4-5 years now. If I do anything, I’ll probably go to the DQ in Monroe on Saturday night for there cruise-in.

Plus its my weekend to work :(

I am just a bit confused.

The Don Miller All Makes (All Models) show that is on the calendar for this coming Sunday has me confused. Isn’t this the show that moved from the Don Miller lot, to the park in Waunakee last year. Isn’t this show hosted and run by the God’s County Pontiac Club? Isn’t this show always held in late August? Is the Don Miller dealership starting their own all makes/all models show?

Anyone have additional insights/info on this show?

This show is sponsored by Don Miller. The show in September is sponsored by God’s Country Pontiac Club. The show by Don Miller used to be Pontiac only and MOPAR only. It looks like they have opened it to all makes.

We’ll see how the week goes with my daughter, but I think we may try the show in Poynette, it looks interesting.

Fox Lake is nice, but has gotten way too big.

Marshall ~ the Don Miller show is confusing, I will agree. I haven’t seen/heard anything this year about the God’s Country Show that’s been held in Waunakee the last couple years. I’ll have to check on that.

If the weather holds I’m thinking about hitting up the Ft. Atkinson cruise on Tuesday ….

I have Waunakee on September 19th in my notes. I’ve never gotten a flyer or seen it on websites, but I did google waunakee car shows and saw it that way….I wouldn’t call that carved in stone though.

Regarding Waunakee…never mind….what I found was last years show.

I spoke with GTO Man last night, and as he understands it, the Don Miller All Makes All Models show this coming Sunday (the 25th), is different from the Gods Country Pontiac Club show in Waunakee in September.

I’ll be headed out to Richland Center on Saturday. Went last year and it was a pretty good show. ;)

Looks like weather for the most part is going to cooperate today, at least out west.

We went to Poynette today, the roads were wet when we left but it turned out to be a great day!

Dick and I headed up to Fox Lake. We were somewhat delayed leaving Madison, but it turned out to be a fantastic day and an excellent show. Registration was held open until 1:30, but I understand they ended up with 480+ cars.

Congrats to Bruce and Kathy Stewart and to Blue Chip Street Rods (Dave & Kerry) for the Grand Champion Best Of Show Award. The trophy was at least one foot taller than Kathy!

Nice to see Blue Chip could find time to take Bruce and Kathy’s car to a show for once.

That’s great! Now if only they could drive that car to shows and cruise nights… life would be good!
